Shane-D got his first set of decks at the very young age of 13. He had always been into dance music & constantly listened to the dance radio stations that were broadcasting in Dublin at that time.
At 14 years of age Shane began to do small gigs, parties & functions.
That same year purely by chance, Shane was offered a show on a small pirate radio station which was broadcasting from a shed in North Dublin.
He said, “After my first show I was hooked! It gave me such a buzz and I still get that same feeling when on air today”
Shane continued to gig around the country for private parties & functions for a number of years and has been involved with many of the leading dance radio stations in Dublin on and off for the past 12 years as well as being awarded a certificate in Radio Production & Sound engineering.
Shane currently hosts a radio show on NOW FM
